#JAVON

We met at a bar...

Called All American Pub, because there is nothing more American than falling in love. We had our first date at Soul Gastrolounge where we immediately knew we loved each other more than we love food (that's a lot).

She Said Yes

She Said Yes

On October 31, 2015, Yvonne told Jason yes to becoming Javon. Jason proposed in the bedroom because he didn't know that everyone was going to ask where they got engaged. They then celebrated by going to Europe.

Yvonne

Yvonne

Yvonne was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Wayne and Beatrice. She escaped Ohio as soon as she possibly could and graduated summa cum laude from Flagler College in 2008 with a major in English and a minor in Political Studies. She eventually found her way to Charlotte by way of an awesome job teaching English at Myers Park High School where she teaches IB English III, Creative Writing, and advises the school Literary Magazine, The Pegasus

However, Yvonne's most important job is acting as the maidservant for Javon's two pugs, Franklin and Ollie. She is also toying with the idea of getting a cat, but she is deathly allergic and everyone in her life fears she is two steps away from becoming an animal hoarder, so it probably won't happen any time soon. In her free time she enjoys running, walking the dogs, listening to liberal podcasts (much to the ire of her father), baking delicious treats for BNA, watching all cities and seasons of The Real Housewives, napping, and occasionally writing (when it does not conflict with the Housewives or the napping).

Her life goals include writing a book, opening a bakery, and convincing Jason to watch something other than sports.
